Since 1974, Italian textures that tell stories around the world
Layer upon layer to tell the story of Emiliana Parati
Like rotogravure printing, which overlays up to seven layers to create unique textures, our history is made of chapters that, together, reveal who we are today.
1974 - Our roots
In Parma, the Albertoni brothers founded Emiliana Parati, moving from selling to producing wallpaper. It was the first step — the moment when an entrepreneurial intuition became a tangible offering, destined to become a benchmark in Italy.
1980 - Our style
From expertise in materials and techniques, the Rivalba brand was born, dedicated to textile coordinates. The company began collaborations with brands such as Valentino and Naj Oleari. The collections soon expanded abroad, particularly in the United States, opening the first international channels.
1997 - Our identity
With the change in ownership, Emiliana became Industrie Emiliana Parati. A new shareholder group reorganised the governance and strengthened the production structure, ensuring continuity and a long-term vision.
2001 - Expansion through acquisitions
We broadened our offerings and expertise. Decori & Decori strengthened our international presence, while Salubra-Tekko brought with it the excellence of German artisanal techniques and a heritage prestigious enough to include projects for the Quirinale and the White House.
2011 - Our international footprint
We built the Prima Italiana production plant in Kaliningrad to serve the Russian market. In the same year, we obtained our first fashion licenses: Roberto Cavalli, Blumarine, Ferré and Yudashkin chose us to produce coordinated luxury wallpaper collections for their maisons
2020 - Innovation
The company invested in digital printing, opening up new possibilities for customisation and bespoke projects for architects and interior designers. At the same time, we continued producing high-grammage rotogravure collections.
Today
From our headquarters in Casalmaggiore, we export wallpaper to more than fifty countries, working closely with architects, interior designers and distributors to bring new stories to residential, professional and hospitality environments through style and personality.
How we craft our wallpaper
Italian production
Our wallpapers are installed all over the world, yet we remain faithful to our Italian roots. Our strength lies in working with architects, distributors and global brands, adapting to markets without ever losing our identity.
Artisanal expertise
Our collections are born from the combination of traditional techniques such as embossing and the most advanced technological research. We unite artisanal craftsmanship with innovation to create unique and recognisable products.
Certified materials
For us, quality also means responsibility. We use water-based inks, safe materials and certified processes to ensure products that are durable and respectful of both the environment and people.
The numbers behind Industrie Emiliana Parati
With over 20,000 m² of production space and a maximum capacity of 1 million rolls per year, Emiliana Parati is a solid presence in the wallcovering sector. Our printers can operate 24 hours a day, ensuring precision and production continuity. From our Casalmaggiore headquarters, we export to more than fifty countries, bringing Italian design and quality to the world.
Brands and licenses: our production behind renowned names
Alongside our proprietary collections, Emiliana Parati is the selected partner of some of the world’s most prestigious maisons. We exclusively produce and distribute the wallpaper collections of Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli and Blumarine, managing every phase: from concept to technical development and production.
Our continuous dialogue with these brands allows us to create collections that naturally align with their Home lines, maintaining the aesthetic coherence and refinement that define each maison.
